RE: Specification Aggregates

Dear Board Members:
Enclosed herewith is the annual report and map covering our Specification
Aggregates quarry in Jefferson County. The map shows our mining progress
for the period of February 1981 to February 1982. The map also indicates
our anticipated mining progress for the period of February 1982 to
February 1983. In compliance with your reporting requirements, we submit
the follocaing:
1. Location and number of acres affected during the year: approximately
104 acres. (Please see map for location.)
2. Location and number of acres reclaimed for the year: None completely
reclaimed.
3. The location and number of acres in the various stages of reclamation:
Extraction of rock within the quarry has not reached the planned
final grade; therefore, we have not implemented our reclamation plan.
We have, however, done some grass seeding and planting of approximately
60 large trees and shrubs along our entrance road and around the office.
To date, our plantings appear to be doing well with a loss of 10% to
15%. This next year should prove crucial and give us a good idea of
the success rate to expect in future plantings.
