•
Dove FIWa
5.2 Monitorine Well DFMW-2
One volatile organic compound was detected in the water sample at this location. Toluene was
reported at 2 ppb which is below the EPA PQL. Toluene also was detected in the laboratory
blank. Toluene is a commonly used organic chemical in [he analytical laboratory. The inorganic
analyses with minor exceptions were also consistent with the first and second quarter sampling
results.
5.3 Monitorine Well DFMW-3
No volatile organic constituents were detected in the third quarter sampling. The inorganic
analyses are consistent with the first quarter analyses with the exception of magnesium which
dropped from 110 ppm in the first and second quarters to l7 ppm in the third quarter. The
turbidity and total suspended solids values are similar to the second quarter.
5.4 Monitoring Well DFMW-4
No volatile organic compounds were detected during this sampling event. The inorganic analyses
• are consistent with the results from the Cirst and second quarters. The values for total suspended
solids are reduced slightly in the third quarter suggesting that the well continues to yield less
aquifer fines with continued purging.
5.5 Surface Water Location DFSW-1
There is no flowing or standing water in the stream bed at this location. No samples were
obtained. This location is expected to remain dry until spring runoff begins.
5.6 Surface Water Location DFSW-2
Two volatile organic constituents, methylene chloride and toluene, were detected below the EPA
PQL. Toluene was also detected in the laboratory blank. The inorganic analyses are consistent
with the first and second quarter analyses. Specific conductance and total dissolved solids values
are increased somewhat in the third quarter.
Pmjecl No~ba: 219-9J-012
• Jaocuy 21, 1991
Y~e6
