On behalf of Connell Resources, Inc. we are submitting a plan of action to respond to dust and
noise pollution.
It should be noted that Connell is in the process of obtaining the appropriate permits from the
Colorado Department of Health regazding dust and noise polluton. We will submit a copy of the
applications with the County Special Review submittal. Connell will comply with the guidelines
outlined in the permits.
If a complaint is received by the Health Department, the following individuals at Connell should

Once a complaint is received, Connell will take the following course of action.
i) Determine the source of the noise or dust pollution
Dust emission from Connell's operation generally occurs while processing material, transporting
of material, and when the wind is strong enough to lift fine dust from the stockpiles and
roadways. Connell has controls to prevent dust emissions at the Stute Pit. The processmg
equipment is equipped with water spray bars to keep material moist while processing. However,
material excavated from the pit is generally moist and is processed immediately, so it does not
pose a dust control problem. Connell has water trucks to keep dirt roadways moist. Connell will
enforce these methods of dust control at the Wellington Downs operation.
