<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The new areas opened up in the 6-85 to 6-86 reporting period <br />include: (KK) 7.2 acres opened in 1985; (LL) 10.5 acres opened in <br />1985; (00) 1.0 acres opened in 1985; and (NN) 1.0 acres opened in <br />1985. All total, there are 196.2 acres under major disturbance in <br />the mining area. <br />The waste dump and stockpile areas include: (I) 4.6 acres <br />which is a raw material holding area which is considered a major <br />disturbance; (J) 2.0 acres and (JJ) 5.4 acres which are also a raw <br />materia] holding area and considered a major disturbance; (0) ]5.4 <br />acres opened prior to 1973 for raw material stockpile, major <br />disturbance; (DD) 8.8 acres opened in 1980 to be used for over- <br />burden disposal area, major disturbance; (L) 18.0 acres converted <br />• from mining to waste rock dump in 1984, major disturbance; (D) 29.2 <br />acres converted from mining to waste rock dump in 1984, major <br />disturbance; (H) 1.7 acres converted from mining to waste rock <br />dump, major disturbance; and (MM) 10.5 acres converted from mining <br />to waste rock dump, major disturbance. All total, there are 95.6 <br />acres designated as stockpile and waste disposal areas. <br />No areas were reclaimed for this report period. All total, <br />there are 156.9 acres that have been reclaimed. <br />All areas are experiencing excellent growth with haying being <br />done in areas (W) and (X). Grazing is being done in areas (Xj, <br />(P), (P) and parts of (V) and (K). <br />• <br />
