• The balance of injection and recovery rates of cavities 1A, 3A, 4A have been
continuously monitored using fluid level indicators installed in Dissolution Surface
aquifer monitoring wells. These wells are located near each of the active cavities. The
fluid level data is used to adjust the injection/recovery flow balance as necessary to
return or maintain the Dissolution Surface aquifer potientiometric level at pre-mining
historical levels. r ,~~ ~•~ ~, ~~
~~ ,_~ ~
The following is raw water Pumpage from well 90-1 with an annual average of 60.4
gpm:
Jan. 00 Feb.00 Mar. 00 ADril OO Mav 00 June 00
Pumpage (gal.) 2,583,066 2,140,200 2,260,108 2,262,894 2,770,000 2,931,240
• Average (g.p.m.) 57.9 51.3 50.6 52.4 62.1 65.7
Julv 00 Aug.00 Sept. 00 Oct. 00 Nov. 00 Dec. 00
Pumpage (gal.) 3,294,817 3,058,600 2,765,550 2,822,50 2,525,100 2,514,972
Average (g.p.m.) 73.8 68.5 64.0 63.2 58.5 56.3
At the end of the calendar year 2000, no movement had been noted in the subsidence
well 4A-5M, located over cavity 4A.
