Logan Wash Mine Annual Report
Permit No.: M-1977-424
GSHI will notify DMG as soon as possible regarding its intent to begin site reclamation and
removal from Temporary Cessation status. GSHI will submit an updated reclamation plan to
DMG and the BLM. Some reclamation activities may be dependent on the needs of the BLM; for
example, the BLM may want to retain the evaporation pond and some access roads.
8.0 Anticipated Disturbance in the Year 2003
No new disturbance of significant acreage is anticipated in the year 2003. However, some
peripheral acreage may be disturbed during reclamation work; this acreage will be reclaimed
during final reclamation/revegetation work. It is possible that GSHI will commence with the
design and installation of a full-scale passive water treatment system at Logan Wash Mine. Such
work will require the submittal of a Technical Revision. At this time, construction of a passive
water treatment system is likely to occur on previously disturbed land (e.g. the main lower mine
bench).
Western Water Sa Land, Inc. 5 of 5
DMGLWannlOS.doc
3!6/2003
