' Oxeye daisy (Chrysanthemum leucanthemum) was present in large patches azound Eagle
' Park in low density. Continued spot treatment of these patches prior to flowering is the
best approach to controlling oxeye daisy.
After conducting IPM efforts at Climax during the 2006 growing season, it is
' recommended that weed control continues next season. Infestations of weeds spread
primarily by water bodies, roads, wind, and disturbances due to construction and staging
t areas. Proactive treatment of weed species in these prioritized areas is critical in
preventing established weed populations from spreading and eradicating new
' occurrences.
Climax Mine: IPM Report 4 2/22/2007
