<br />' Homeslalce Mining Company -Bulldog Mine-Lower Tailing Pond <br />' for dust control. <br /> • April 15, 1991 the WQCD eliminates the requirement in the CDPS permit to <br /> provide ground water data. "Since 1985, much lower levels of cyanide have been <br />' detected in the five monitoring wells and in the tailings pond". <br /> • June 8, 1992 an MLRD field inspection report notes that ground water monitoring <br /> in azea of Lower Tailing Impoundment has not continued in spite of information <br />' to the contrary in the Annual Reports. The MLRD requests that the monitoring <br /> results be provided to determine if the monitoring requirement can be recinded. <br /> • July 1, 1992 HMC notifies MLRD that ground water monitoring had been a <br />' requirement of the CDPS by WQCD not the DMG and that the WQCD had <br /> rescinded the requirement on April l5, 1991. <br /> • June 1993, final samples are secured from monitoring wells WP29, 30, and 31. <br />' (Wells WP4 and WP15 did not contain water). The CN(free) in each of the wells <br /> is below the detection levels. <br /> • Summer 1993, the monitoring wells aze backfilled and reclaimed and the Lower <br />' Tailing impoundment is reclaimed with the natural drainage being reestablished. <br />1 <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />
