A direct correlation is noted
between pumpage and levels reported for the A-Groove. The pumpage effect on
the B-Groove is less than for the A-Groove, and appears to have stabilized. After
decreased pumpage following temporary suspension of activities, the A-Groove
recovered significantly and the B-Groove recovered more slowly. No effects from
mining, other than water well pumpage, were detected in A or B-Groove wells.
Dedicated Monitoring Wells Up-Gradient
Wells established to monitor up-gradient conditions are:
Wells A uif r
Na26-IRI-1 Perched
Na26-90-2 Dissolution Surface
Na26-90-3 B-Groove
Na26-90-4 A-Groove

58
