Operating <br />procedures will continue to shift toward product quality, quanity and efficiency. <br />Drilling and mining additional Cavities #2 and #3 will be necessary in 1993 in order <br />to meet market demand. <br />4.0 1992 PROJECT ACTIVITIES <br />4.1 On-Site Facilities and Process Description <br />4.1.1 General Arrangement <br />WRNM operates the Wolf Ridge Mine producing a high grade sodium bicarbonate <br />Ibicarb) on four federal sodium lease tracts within the Piceance Basin in <br />Northwestern Colorado. Figure 2-1 illustrates location of project, leases, wells, <br />• access road and associated utility lines. Figure 4-1 illustrates overall process <br />facilities site plan. <br />4.1.2 Process <br />Pregnant liquor is recovered from the recovery well (88-1 or future recovery wells) <br />and flows to the pregnant liquor storage tank located in the tank farm. Within the <br />process building, the bicarb in the pregnant liquor is crystallized by cooling, <br />dewatered by vacuum filtration and flash dried. The dried product is weighed on <br />the belt scale conveyor enroute to the bulk storage dome. All product leaving the <br />facility is weighed on the truck scale. Figure 4-1 is a new map which illustrates <br />location of the tank farm, process buildings, bulk storage and "legal for trade" <br />truck scale.
