• solution mine. Construction started in May, 1990 for the facilities. A 1990 <br />Project Status and Annual Plan of Development report was submitted to the BLM <br />on December 26, 1990. The annual report is a requirement of the BLM Lease, <br />Record of Decision (ROD) and other permitting agencies. On January 17, 1991, a <br />revised mine plan was submitted to the BLM with approval January 31, 1991. An <br />updated monitoring plan was submitted February 27, 1991. The four sodium <br />leases were renewed per BLM Decision, June 28, 1991 for a ten year period <br />effective July 1, 1991. The unitization of the four leases was effective January 1, <br />1993. <br />3.0 PROJECT STATUS AND SCHEDULE <br />3.1 Sta us <br />• 3.1.1 Annual Plan <br />The 1991 Project Status and Annual Plan of Development report was submitted <br />January 29, 1992 and approved August 25, 1992. <br />3.1.2 Regulatory Submittals/Approvals <br />No mine plan revisions were submitted to the BLM or Colorado Department of <br />Natural Resources in 1992. The BLM approved the project's Monitoring Plan early <br />in 1992. Sonar, gamma ray and temperature logs were submitted to EPA and <br />BLM in March and December. The project obtained BLM and EPA approval not to <br />plug/abandon prelease core holes, Cross-V and Skyline No. 1. BLM APD's for <br />Na26-91-1 and Na26-91-2 were extended to July, 1993. Revised Air Pollution <br />Emission Notices were submitted and approved by CDH. All permitting agencies <br />were notified of new project operator. <br />6 <br />
