Colowyo experienced this precipitation event on June 16-17, 1998. The event was preceeded by eight days of relatively wet rainy conditions with precipitation occuring almost every day. Rainfall data is included as an attachment for your review. Outfall 009A was discharged one week after the storm event due to accessability problems caused by the steepness of slope and heavy mud. We have been successful! in keeping minimal amounts of water in the sediment control ponds to enable us to be in compliance with the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology requirements.
