Bare is our Annual Report for the above designated sand and I~avel
mining operation for 1982-83.
Please be advised that your letter of March 1, 1983 advising us of
the due date of the Annual Report and Fee vas addressed incorrectly.
It vas Bailed to Gunnison, Colorado instead of Lamar. The correct
mailing address for all correspondence regarding the Lamar East Pit
ie in the upper right corner of this letter.
Mining and reclamation at this site for 1982-83 is ae follovei:
1. There xere 1.5 scree of land mined. (See Map ~1.
for locations and acreage.)
2. 1.15 scree vas reclaiaed by "natural processes" as
the result of a change in the river channel caused
by high runoff vater. The excavated portion of the
pit vas filled xith sand from the river and the river
channel nox rune thru this area. It ie the east port-
ion of Technical Revision f(~2. (See Hap r(~1. )
3. Preliminary eloping and grading was completed on
approximately txo acres in Stage Y and Stage BL
Part I. (See Hap ,~1.)
4. No vegetation planting occured in the mining year.
5, No fertilizers, organic materiel or soil conditioaer,9
xere used during the mining year.
6. Reclamation has proceeded clover than anticipated be~:ause
of various events that have been addressed in previoiia
annual reports and because of eloxer market conditiolie.
