~~ <br /> ~MMENT: Where vegetation and organic material exist, it <br />-~ <br /> will be removed prior to placement of fill material. Such <br />~ material will not come in contact with the underground <br />- J <br /> development waste fill. All vegetation and organic <br /> materials will be removed and organic materials stockpiled <br /> for later use for reclamation of bench area. <br /> $sllfl 4.09.1(5) Slope protection shall be provided to <br /> minimize surface erosion at the site. Diversion design <br /> shall conform with the requirements of 4.05.4. All <br /> disturbed areas, including diversion ditches that are not <br /> riprapped, shall be vegetated upon completion of <br /> construction. <br /> COMMENT: Slope protection will be provided to minimize <br /> surface erosion at the site. Drains will be proposed to <br /> come off both the north and south areas of the mine bench <br />1 which will tie into the existing upper bench drains. All <br /> disturbed areas, upon completion of construction, will be <br /> revegetated or properly riprapped. <br />_ $y~g 4.09.1(6) The disposal areas shall be located on the <br /> most moderately sloping and naturally stable areas available <br /> as approved by the Division. If such placement provides <br /> additional stability and prevents mass movement, fill <br />_ materials suitable for disposal shall be placed upon or <br /> above a natural terrace, bench, or berm. <br /> COMMENT: The disposal area has been chosen to accomplish <br /> the primary objective of stabilizing the current mine bench. <br /> The location of the fill material will be, essentially, on a <br /> natural terrace, with the exception of an artifically <br />30 <br />
