3.7 SUMMARY'.
Laboratory testing of the soil types encountered in the
subsurface field investigation were performed to determine the
strength characteristics of existing slope materials and the
proposed borrow materials. Results of these tests were utilized
to develop slope stability models which represented the
conditions encountered and to determine final design conditions.
