Poet-reclamation Investirtation <br />The poet-reclamation investigation will consist of the following tasks: <br />i~ <br />`~~ <br />i <br />o The vegetation on the test plots will be sampled beginning in the fall <br />of 1990. impling will be repeated in the fall of 1992, 1993 and 1995. <br />Data gathered will include woody plant density (number oP woody <br />~~ •• <br />plants in unit area), specie composition and production (gm/m'). <br />r <br />o The plant sample will be analyzed for selenium and boron content if <br />the prior reclamation investigation shows a high concentration of <br />these elements in the refuse, topsoil or subsoil. <br />o The data gathered will be statistically evaluated and interpreted <br />against the revegetation success criteria established during the pre- <br />reclamation investigation. <br />o Conclusions will be drawn as to the revegetation success with <br />different test plots and !or various cover depths. <br />Communication with Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division <br />A close communication will be maintained with CMLRD through this study.
