• 1995 Subsidence Report Page 5 Station 94: Station 94 was newly established in 1993 and is located at the Grosse-Rhode cabin identified as structure 32 on permit No. C-81-038; Map No. 9-7. Advance mining of Panel Yin the vicinity occurred during Demos 1993 and retreat mining occurred in early 1994. This station overlies approximately 2000 feet of overburden. The monitoring point established at this site was surveyed Decanbes 8, 1993 at elevation 8755.95. The Octd~s 1994 survey indicates an elevation loss of 0.17 feet cc~ared to the December 8, 1993 survey. The June 1995 survey perforned by [TPE Engineering showed and increase in elevation of 1.54 feet. See the report frnniTPE Engineering behind tab 7 for an explanation of this data. Station 95: Station 95 is located at the North quar-ter~orner of Section 15. The elevation of Station 95 was defined by satellite survey in July 1992 at 8415.4 feet. Panel Y development occurred east of Station 95 during July 1993. Station 95 was re-surveyed in January 1994 and showed a 0.76 foot elevation loss. It is not apparent whether this elevation change is associated with subsidence or the difference in survey techniques. Cover in the vicinity of Station 95 is approximately 1550 feet and subsidence of this degree would • not be anticipated in this area particularly prior to retreat mining operations. Station 95 was pillared under in September or October 1994. The October 1994 survey indicates a minor (0.08 foot) loss in elevation ca~g~aned to the January 1994 survey. The June 1995 survey performed by APE Engineering checked within 0.04 feet of the satellite survey. Based on the [Ji'E survey, station 95 appears to be stable. Station 96: Station 96 was newly established in 1993 and is located at the Grosse-Rhode garage identified as structure 33 on permit No. C-81-038; Map No. 9-7. Advance mining of Panel Yin the vicinity occurred during Deer 1993 and retreat Honing occurred in early 1994. This station overlies approximately 2000 feet of overburden. The monitoring point established at this site was surveyed Deart~bes 8, 1993 at elevation 8733.03. The October 1994 survey indicates an elevation gain of 0.49 feet comq~ared to the De~nbP.r 8, 1993 survey.
