• 1995 Subsidence Report <br />Page 4 <br />Station DH 55: Drill hole 55 is located over Panel Z with approximately 1750 <br />feet of cover. Panel Z was retreated mined in the vicinity <br />of DH 55 in July 1994. The collar elevation of DH 55 was <br />originally established in 1981 at 8578.57 feet. The <br />monitoring point established at this site was surveyed in <br />January 1994 at elevation 8543.11 (-35.46 feet). An apparent <br />error in survey elevation data exists for this site. The <br />October 1994 survey indicates a minor (0.07 foot) gain in <br />elevation cxi~Qared to the January 1994 survey. The June 1995 <br />survey performed by APE Engineering shv~ed and increase in <br />elevation of 0.59 feet. See the report from iJiE Engineering <br />behind tab 7 for an explanation of this data. <br />Station DH 65: Drill hole 65 is located over the 1st East Main >n the west <br />thick opal pal with approximately 1380 feet of ewer. In May <br />1994 the 1st East Mains were advanced under DH 65. During <br />1995 retreat mining occurred both north and south of DH 65. <br />The October 1994 survey indicates a minor (0.13 foot) gain in <br />elevation ca~aned to the January 1994 survey. The June 1995 <br />survey performed by DTE Eng;noAring shamed and increase in <br />elevation of 0.81 feet. See the report from VPE Engineering <br />behind tab 7 for an explanation of this data. <br />• Station DH 66: Drill hole 66 is located over Panel ZZ-1 North in the west <br />thick coal pal with approximately 1290 feet of cover. <br />Advance mining occurxEd under DH 66 during May 1995 and <br />retreat mining occurred during July or Auqust 1995. The <br />collar elevation of DH 66 was originally established in 1982 <br />at 8209.89 feet. The mronitoring point established at this <br />site was surveyed in January 1994 at elevation 8189.50 (- <br />20.39 feet) . An apparent error in survey elevation data <br />exists for this site. The October 1994 survey indicates a <br />minor (0.07 foot) gain in elevation conq~ared to the January <br />1994 survey. The June 1995 survey performed by DTE <br />Engineering showed and increase in elevation of 0.58 feet. <br />See the report from [JPE Engineering behind tab 7 for an <br />explanation of this data. <br />Station DH 68: Drill hole 68 is located over Panel Z with approximately 1250 <br />feet of cover. Advance mining occurred directly under DH 68 <br />in October 1993. The Dollar elevation of DH 68 was <br />originally established in 1982 at 8191.92 feet. The <br />monitoring point established at this site was surveyed in <br />January 1994 at elevation 8191.53 (-0.39 feet). The October <br />1994 survey indicates a minor (0.02 foot) loss in elevation <br />ca~ared to the January 1994 survey. The June 1995 survey <br />performed by UTE Engineering shaped and increase in elevation <br />of 1.96 feet.
