MINING COMPANY
June 21, 1995
The following Table shows relative change in points from Septem-
ber, 1994 to June, 1995.
STATION BEARING DISTANCE ELEVATION
94 N79°46'37"W 1.29 +1.54
96 N66°27'23"W 0.90 +0.54
97 UTE UNABLE TO SURVEY THIS STATION
98 N20°58'24"W 5.76 +0.84
C J
This Table shows for Stations 94 and 96 a relative change in the
Subsidence Points horizontal movement in a West to Northwest
direction with a distance change ranging from 0.90 feet to 1.29
feet. Elevations went up on the average of 1.04 feet.
Station 98 is Northwest 5.76 feet from the last coordinate value.
From the past field notes UTE had assumed that the point for sta-
tion 98 was the corner of the cabin window. The difference in
the coordinate values show that the point would be out away from
the cabin window on the deck of the cabin. No definite point was
found on the deck to be surveyed. UTE recommends that survey
monuments be established in the vicinity of these buildings that
can be readily identified for subsidence monitoring.
Changes in value of the coordinates for the Subsidence Points
from the September, 1994 survey to the June, 1995 survey may be
the result of a variety of factors:
i. New survey personnel with different equipment and dif-
ferent methods of survey practice;
2. Actual changes in points due to subsidence activity;
3. Random errors inherent to any field survey.
•
If you have any questions, please call.
/ ~
G
E.
