The Division had an opportunity at that time to correct the deficiencies resulting from the personnel change in May. The monitoring records were again inspected on October 27, 1993 and March I1, 1994. Copies of relevant portions of the inspection records enclosed. "The operator should be aware that the Division expects a reasonable effort to be out forth in trying to obtain surface and groundwater monitoring data a_nd samples. If it is necessary to chip a couple of inches of ice or shovel a foot of snow from the top of a well in order to conduct the required monitoring, then that should be noted end the samples should be collected."
