Energy Fuels Mining Company <br />Raton Creek Mine <br />2000 ANNUAL RECLAMATION REPORT <br />Introduction <br />The Annual Reclamation Report documents backfilling, grading, topsoiling, and seeding <br />activities conducted by Energy Fuels Mining Company (EFMC) at the Raton Creek Mine during <br />the 2000 calendar year. Raton Creek remained in permanent cessation -reclamation status <br />during the reporting period. <br />This report includes text, discussion, and a map in accordance with the requirements of Rule <br />2.04.13. In addition, the Division's Annual Reclamation Report Form is completed and attached <br />hereto. <br />Reclamation work during the reporting period included minor site maintenance, monitoring, and <br />inter-seeding on a portion of the refuse disposal area (RDA). Detailed information about the <br />2000 reclamation work is discussed below. <br />Disturbed Areas <br />No additional acreage was disturbed, or re~isturbed, during the reporting period. <br />Backfilled and Graded Areas <br />No areas were backfilled and graded during the reporting period. <br />Toosoiled Areas <br />No areas were topsoiled during the reporting period. <br />Revegetated Areas <br />EFMC revegetated approximately 3.4 acres on the refuse disposal area during the reporting <br />period. This area is shown on accompanying Figure 1, Mine Site. This revegetation work was <br />conducted in accordance with Minor Revision No. 17. <br />Revegetation work within the 3.4 acres included plowing the surface, application and <br />incorporating chemical fertilizer and manure, seed application by drill and broadcast methods, <br />and application and crimping of mulch. In addition, EFMC re-established the approved closed- <br />contour furrows within the revegetated area. <br />1 id i <br />
