Please be aware that operations comprising 10.0 or more <br /> acres are considered "Regular Operations", and require information not <br /> included with the original Limited Impact Operation application. <br /> Enclosed is a "Regular Operation" application form. "Information not <br /> previously provided" requires submittal , i .e. , soil and vegetation <br /> inventories of newly included acreage, Reclamation Map, etc. <br /> B. Please review Rule 2.2 addressing Publication specifications. <br /> 2. A. Will sand and gravel be removed from the "Northern 300 feet of <br /> the Arroya" to "shape" it? <br /> B. Please specify how the arroya will be shaped. <br /> C. How will the Southern undisturbed arroya gradient flow or blend <br /> into the shaped portion of the arroya? That is, will the reshaping of <br /> the Northern 300 feet cause backcutting and consequent erosion of the <br /> upper undisturbed stream gradient? <br /> 3. The permit specifies that slopes will be graded to slopes no steeper <br /> than 4H: 1V. <br /> Hindmarsh Pit - M-78-108 <br /> 1 . A. An amendment has been submitted to change the affected land from <br /> 3 to 8.95 acres. <br /> B. Please review Rule 3.2 concerning Publication specifications. <br /> 2. I assume the area has been graded to drain into the reclaimed <br /> drainage in the Northern pit area, or should have been. Please correct <br /> me if wrong. <br /> Seelig Pit - M-78-109 <br /> 1 . A. An amendment has been submitted to change the affected land from <br /> 4 to 5.96 acres. <br /> B. Please review Rule 3.2 addressing Publication specifications. <br /> 2. The permit specifies that slopes will be graded to slopes no steeper <br /> than 4H: 1V. Will the box-cut fill be sloped to this grade? <br /> Lancaster Pit - M-78-110 <br /> 1 . Reclamation will commence in the Fall of 1985. <br /> Brewer Site - M-78-111 <br /> 1 . Has the Brewer site location been verified? Please provide a <br /> location description, if different from that specified in the July 2, <br /> 1985 Inspection Report. <br />
