<br />1.0 INTRODUCTION <br />1.1 General <br />' The Specifications presented in the following paragraphs are Technical Specifications for the <br />installation of the Tailings Disposal Impoundment synthetic liner system at the Battle Mountain <br />Resources Inc., San Luis Project. <br />1.2 Scope of Work <br />1 The scope of work for these Technical Specifications shall include the installation of the <br />synthetic liner for the upper and lower impoundment areas located at the Battle Mountain <br />Resources, Inc., San Luis Project in Costilla County, Colorado. These Specifications are the <br />complete set of Specifications for the Tailings Disposal Area synthetic liner installation. Specific <br />' work items include, but are not limited to the following: <br />- Mobilization of all equipment and material required for the work; <br />' - Placement of synthetic liner materials on prepared surfaces; <br />- Furnishing and installing all material and constructing all items appurtenant and incidental <br />to the above; <br />' - Testing of completed facilities; and <br />' - Demobilizing, which includes removal of temporary structures. <br />The Contractor shall familiarize himself with the relevant regional and site specific conditions <br />which may have an impact upon the work. Data relevant to the overall project are contained in <br />reports in the possession of the Owner, which are available for Contractor review. <br />[n the case of discrepancy or ambiguity in the Specifications, Drawings, codes, standards, or <br />' regulations, it is the intent of these Specifications that the most restrictive interpretation shall <br />apply unless interpreted otherwise by the Engineer. <br /> <br />1 <br />
