In response Lo the y~reric, rais<:d i„ u~a mcr.~ c! <br />February 12th, the applicant has presented d.iscussi.ons concerning: <br />1) coal and overburden strengths and their .+~fects on pass.,neway design, <br />2) i:he e,ristence and affects of subsidence u!,c to oast mining, <br />3) near-out crop barrier pillar design, <br />4) roof collapse and its propaga lion through stnpir~•/, <br />5) a clear stipulation of desiyned pillar sir.<a: to br ur.iliz<~J in tbusc <br />areas intended to pLeclude subsidence, stipulated by f.inel or entry. <br />Several statements contained within the revi_•-F~~d application do, however, war- <br />rant some comment, and will require amend,n~~n(.: <br />1) The applicant states on page 1'V-79; "Then. ace no houses or buildires <br />aver areas of potential subsidence oChe,r than thn.;^ owned by Empire <br />Energy.
