Mr. Ronald M. Richarson, Pres. - 2 - January 12, 1990
Review of the file for Permit No. M-77-552 also indicates several hydrologic
concerns from the State Engineer's Office regarding the Herman Feit. Pit. The
Division would also appreciate receipt of a document from either River Valley
Roche, Inc. and/or the Colorado Department of Natural Resources, State
Engineer's Office indicating that all hydrologic concerns have been resolved.
Statements from the Colorado Department of Health and the U.S. Army Corps of
Engineers regarding the need or lack of need for an air emissions permit and a
dredge and fill permit would also be appreciated.
These various permits, if required, are ultimately the responsibility of the
operator. The Division would like to receive statements from either the
agencies and/or operator regarding the status of these permits and their
necessity for operation of the Feit Pit. Receipt of these statements will
ensure a complete permit file in the office of the Division.
Also, the Division requests that you complete pages 1 and 2 of the
112 Operation Application form and return to our office as soon as ~rossible.
Exhibits A-P as submitted in the original 112 Application in 1978 are
sufficient.
Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. If you have any que~;tions,
please contact me at 866-3567.
Sincerely,
~'~ _- ~ ./
Thomas A.
