impacts from mining. The water quality data for the Trout Creek Sandstone is summarized on <br />Tables 4, 5, and 6. A plot of field conductivity is presented in Figure 13. The data for Well <br />006-83-48C does indicate that the water quality has been effected by migration of fluids from <br />the cemented zone of the well into the open azea of the well. <br />The water quality data for the Twentymile Sandstone wells are summarized on Table 7. The <br />data does not indicate any trends that appear related to the underground mining. The wells have <br />a field conductivity level of 400 to 850 umhos/cm. This is within the range expected for the <br />unaffected aquifer. The data does not indicate any significant changes in the trace metal <br />concentrations. The conductivity values aze plotted on Figure 14. They do not indicate any <br />long term trend. <br />The water quality data for the Wadge Overburden aquifer wells is summarized on Tables 8 to <br />13. A plot of dissolved solids is presented on Figure 15. The plot does not indicate any trends <br />that appear related to the underground mining. The water is generally sodium-sulphate. Well <br />006-88-2 is asodium-bicarbonate type. Well 006-82-74C is probably affected by spoil water <br />from the surface mining activities. <br />Alluvium <br />Sediments in the Foidel Creek valley up and downstream of the portal area are monitored. Also, <br />the sediments in the Fish Creek valley within Twentymile Park aze monitored. Three wells <br />completed in the Foidel Creek alluvium are monitored. Five wells completed in the Fish Creek <br />alluvium are monitored. <br />Water levels -The plots of the historic water levels in three Foidel Creek alluvial wells are <br />presented on Figures 16 to 18. A plot of the historic water levels in some of the Fish Creek <br />Wells in the middle of Twentymile Park are presented on Figures 19, 52, and 53. Plots of the <br />water levels in the alluvial wells in the vicinity of the fish Creek Tipple are presented on Figures <br />20 and 21.
