The Division of Minerals and Geology (DMG) was notified
of, and approved, this reclamation activity under Technical Revision No. 003 to M-77-300
in May of 1996. The reclaimed area, known as the Transfer Pad, was bonded for
reclamation under the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE)
radioactive materials license CO-369-03. The CDPHE released the Transfer Pad for
unrestricted public use on December 12, 1998. Approximately 3,600 cubic yards of topsoil
were placed on the Transfer Pad during January and February of 1999, and the area was
seeded for revegetation in May of 1999.
