Contoured Areas <br />The area around, and including, the old Exhaust Borehole location was graded to a final <br />contour that conforms to the requirements of the Reclamation Plan contained in <br />Reclamation Permit M-1977-300. <br />3. Structure Removal <br />Permanent, portable and poured structures and pads that have been partially or completely <br />razed during the report period are listed below using the structure designations listed in the <br />reclamation bond recalculation dated June 5, 1996. These structures have been removed <br />since the last Division site inspection and bond review in March 2003. <br />a. Permanent Structures <br />i. Shop Addition ~ Building and Concrete Pad Removed. <br />Reclamation Scheduled for the 2004 Reporting Period: <br />The Cotter Corporation anticipates the completion of the following reclamation activity for <br />permit M-1977-300 during the coming year: <br />1. Complete the removal from reclamation liability under permit M-1977-300 of all remaining <br />permanent and poured structures. <br />Review of Reclamation Bond Adequacy: <br />The Financial Warranty for Permit M-1977-300 was recalculated in February of 2003 to reflect <br />reclamation work completed to that date. A reduction in warranty was approved by the <br />Division of Minerals and Geology in June of 2003 (Revision SR-2) after a site inspection and <br />bond review. The Cotter Corporation has reviewed the sufficiency of the Financial Warranty <br />for Permit No. M-1977-300, the Schwartzwalder Mine, and has determined that the current <br />bond value of $104,083.00, held under Bond No. 0645104019148 of the State of Colorado, is <br />sufficient to cover all remaining DMG related reclamation costs. <br />A check in the amount of $550.00 is attached to this report as payment for the Reclamation <br />Permit No. M-1977-300 annual fee. <br />If you have any questions, or require additional information on the contents of this report, <br />please call Tim Pierce at (303) 642-3893 or Preston Niesen at (720) 554-6210. <br />Sim ly, <br />~~~ <br />Timothy .Pierce <br />EC/RSO - Schwartzwalder Mine <br />cc: Preston Niesen <br />
