The Mine has a total <br />permitted affected acreage of 43.29 acres in Section 25, T2S, R71W, 6PM and Section 8, T3S, <br />R70W, 6PM. The Mine does not have a phased reclamation plan, is not in temporary cessation, <br />and will continue operations in the next report year. The Division of Minerals & Geology <br />(Division) Annual Fee and Report Request Form and the Annual Fee of $550.00 are attached <br />to this report. - - ~ <br />Changes to the Affected Area: . <br />There were no cliariges to the affected area for the reporting period. A map depicting the <br />current affected area for mining operations in Section 25 is attached as Figure 1. No additional <br />disturbances are anticipated during the next report period. <br />Reclamation Completed During the Report Period: <br />The Mine does not have a phased reclamation plan, but Cotter Corporation (Cotter) has been <br />reclaiming surface facilities and areas that are no longer used in the mining operation in <br />accordance with the permit reclamation plan since May of 1998. Reclamation activity <br />completed since the last Division site inspection and born review of March 2003 has consisted <br />of steep and shallow slope seeding in several areas, the recontour and seeding of the sealed <br />Exhaust Borehole area, and the removal of several permanent structures. <br />1. Seeded Areas <br />The following areas were seeded during May of 2003: <br />a, The steep slope east of the old Main Shop location. <br />b. The steep slope at the east end of the West Waste Dump. <br />- c. The shallow slope that resulted from the recontouring of the old Main Office area. <br />d, The shallow slopes located along the south bank of Ralston Creek from 150 feet <br />west of the current office trailer location to 200 feet east of the old Guard Post <br />location. <br />e. The shallow slopes located along the toe of the south valley slope From the east toe <br />of the steep slope east of the old Main Shop location to the Sump #1 location. <br />f.
