Groundwater
PHC Prediction: There will be increased TDS in alluvial groundwater from mine water
discharge and refuse pile leachate. An insignificant impact is projected.
There are no data in the AHR which speak to this. The groundwater data are derived from the
UTL and the Rollins Sandstone and no data on alluvial groundwater.
PHC Prediction: There will no impact on the quality of the Rollins sandstone
groundwater.
This appears to be the case.
PHC Prediction: There will be subsidence-cause dewatering of the strata overlying the
workings.
This appeazs to be the case, given mine inflow situation.
PHC Prediction: There will be no impact on the alluvial groundwater of Rapid Creek and
Cottonwood Creek.
The data from those locations indicate that there has been no impact on water levels in the
alluvium of these two streams.
Any further questions, give me a call.
ce=t7~i~rw~
