• Dear Mr. Dudash:
On Behalf of Bowie Resources Limited, we are submitting the following in response to
the adequacy concerns expressed in your letter of November 30, 2000.
1999 Annual Hydrology Report
In the section entitled "Springs" in Table I of the 1999.AHR, several monitoring locations
are listed as having being dropped from surveillance. These sites'are S0704, SI504,
SPO/059 SP070.i, SPI900, SP2300 and SP2400. However; Table 3 in Volume 4- 1 of the
permit application shows the approved monira•ing plml. Irl Table 3, otlly SP 1?04 has
heen dropped from the monitoring requirements. Sites 50704, SPO,'Oi, SPI900. SPZ300
ae7d SP2400 are listed as being temporarily dropped and site SP010~ is listed as ml
active site. Please conmeeru and revise Table 1, if you agree.
Table 1 has been updated to remove "Temporarily dropped from surveillance" sites.
SP010~ has not been monitored since 1997, Table 3 is a part of TR-34 and properly
suspends monitoring of this site due to its remote location.
?. Table 1 of the 1999 AHR shows that surface mater location S6G'0~ is required to have
quarterly laboratory m:crlvses performed. Hox•ever, the data sholre7 on monitot•itrg point
. treble page 40 of the hydrolog v report show that onln semi-anmeal laboratory arlalvses
were perforated. Please comment.
