In the event the seed is <br />drilled the seeding rate per acre should be cut in half. Drill seeding is not likely to occur as the soil <br />to be replaced will very likely be too rocky to effectively drill without experiencing equipment <br />damage. <br />No mulch, fertilizer, or irrigation is necessary with this mixture as the mixture primarily <br />uses native species characteristic of the natural vegetation. These species should have no difficulty <br />establishing themselves without the addition of mulch, fertilizer, or irrigation. <br />Dragging the seeded area after broadcast seeding would be beneficial but is not absolutely <br />necessary so long as seeding has occurred within 7 to 10 days after soil distribution. If seeding has <br />occurred after that time then dragging after seeding, in addition to the loosening of the soil prior to <br />seeding, should be done to insure good seed coverage. <br />
