SNELTO N, Director <br />CONSENT FOR RIGHT OF ENTRY TO CONDUCT FEASIBILITY STUDIES <br />Snowmass Coal Company hereby represents to the State of Colorado, <br />Department of Natural Resources, Division of Mined Land Reclamation, that <br />the undersigned is the owner, one of the owners, or represents the owner <br />of the following real property located in the County of Pitkin and the <br />State of Colorado: SW NW Sec 35 T8S R89W, also known a5 the Thompson <br />Creek #2 mine. <br />As such, the undersigned hereby grants to the agents, employees, and <br />contractors of the Mined Land Reclamation Division, Department of Natural <br />Resources, State of Colorado, permission to conduct studies, which are in <br />the public interest, as to the feasibility of reclamation for such lands <br />in accordance with the Inactive Mine Reclamation Program which is <br />sponsored by the State of Colorado in cooperation with the United States <br />of America. In connection therewith, the Division is permitted to <br />evaluate acidophilic metal absorbtion and uptake by selected plant <br />species at the Thompson Creek Mine q2 drainage system and maintain the <br />vegetative system as necessary. Project activities will include water <br />quality sampling, planting and maintaining acidophilic vegetation. <br />Consent is given to enter upon the above-described property for the <br />length of time necessary to complete the feasibility work, subject to the <br />undersigned's continued ownership and use of the property. ** <br />In giving consent to this entry, no rights are waived which are conferred <br />by virtue of the language contained in Title IV of the Surface Mining <br />Control and Reclamation Act of 1977, 30 U.S.C. 1231, et sec. and/or the <br />Colorado Surface Coal Mining Act of 1979, 1973 C.R.S. 34-33-133. <br />(~'~ ~ - C7 /~ ~-f <br />andowner s signature ate <br />Witnessed by <br />S <br />**Provided that all work and visits are performed during the <br />regular business hours of Snowmass Coal Company unless prior <br />arrangements are made with company personnel. <br />423 Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street Denver, Colorado 80203 Tel.
