~~ page 2 <br /> <br />Summary and Appraisal of Reclamation Efforts <br />We believe that our reclamation efforts have been successful <br />and positive. <br />The banks that were sloped support grass, wheat grasses, willows, <br />and many numerous other plants, which have prevented erosion and <br />provided wildlife habitat. <br />Two years ago, we stocked a variety of bass that are very prolific. <br />We also see other varieties of minnows, snails, shrimp, crayfish, <br />and different varieties of water bugs, which provide the fish with <br />a good source of food. <br />Since we began excavation, we have seen more and more varieties <br />of water fowl. The different varieties include: Canadian geese, <br />Mallard ducks, Pintails, Common Merganzers, Snowy Egrets, Herons, and <br />many others. <br />One important note is that, this has all been occuring through <br />the years while we are still actively excavating the pit.
