~~ page 2

Summary and Appraisal of Reclamation Efforts
We believe that our reclamation efforts have been successful
and positive.
The banks that were sloped support grass, wheat grasses, willows,
and many numerous other plants, which have prevented erosion and
provided wildlife habitat.
Two years ago, we stocked a variety of bass that are very prolific.
We also see other varieties of minnows, snails, shrimp, crayfish,
and different varieties of water bugs, which provide the fish with
a good source of food.
Since we began excavation, we have seen more and more varieties
of water fowl. The different varieties include: Canadian geese,
Mallard ducks, Pintails, Common Merganzers, Snowy Egrets, Herons, and
many others.
One important note is that, this has all been occuring through
the years while we are still actively excavating the pit. In several
decades, this will be an excellent wildlife habitat that did not exist
before.
Sincerely,
Thomas G. Mathias
Mathias Concrete, Inc.
