I. SURVEY DATA
The spatial locations of subsidence monuments that are currently
being monitored are tabulated in Appendix A.
II. MAPS
A. Plan View
The attached map (Drawing IIFC-14-8401) shows a plan view of
existing underground workings, one year mining projection, surface
topography and structures, and monument locations.
B. Cross Sections
The attached cross section (Drawing IIFC-14-8402) shows the
three monuments installed in the location of Foidel Creek. Under-
ground development progressed beneath these monuments in April,
1984. No cross sections are included for [he spoils stability
monuments because only one monument is installed along the slope
dip at each location.
III. HYDROLOGY
The underground mine is dewatering the adjacent Wadge overburden
aquifer and drawdown in the vicinity of the workings is being monitored
by existing wells in the aquifer. Alluvial wells being monitored above
the workings in the Foidel Creek Mine floodplain have not shown any
drawdown or depletion of water from the alluvium. Water monitoring data
will be included in the 1984 Hydrologic Monitoring Report for Mining
Permit C-056-82.
IV. STRUCTURES
Only development main entries have been mined to date, hence no
caving of overburden strata has taken place. There has been no measurable
subsidence of the monuments installed at Foidel Creek. There has not been
any monitoring of other structures above the main entries.
-3-
