LOCATION <br />2182 Hwy 58 at 44th Avenue <br />2183 East side of Washington Street from <br />2nd Avenue to 6th Avenue <br />2184 West side of Washington Street from <br />2nd Avenue to 6th Avenue <br />2189 5th Avenue and Illinois and 5th Avenue <br />and Cheyenne Streets <br />* - Less than 200 mesh soil fraction <br />.. <br />ug of uranium per gram of soil* <br />3.4 + _.0 <br />8.7 + 0.8 <br />8.2 + 0.7 <br />1.5 + 0.3 <br />The only uranium soil samples the Department has analyzed iri the area <br />are the 1971-1973 soil samples from the general vicinity of Rocky Flats. <br />The range is 0.4 - 37.4 pg of uranium per gram o£ soil. <br />The average value for uranium in the Front Range of Colorado is 4.6 ug/g <br />• (Adams and Lowder, 1964) with considerable variations found between individual <br />samples and locations. <br /> <br />
