The type and approximate quantity of fertilizers, organic material or soil conditions <br />used and location of use. <br />RESPONSE: <br />No fertilizers, organic material or soil conditions were used during the report year. <br />6. An appraisal of the success or reclamation efforts and in the event of failure of any <br />efforts, a short narrative on the suspected or determined cause of such failure. <br />RESPONSE: <br />Observations indicate that reclaimed areas exhibit good vegetative cover which is <br />adequately controlling erosion. <br />Tri-State Generating Company cons tr uctetl a road through an area that was topsoiled <br />and seeded in the fall of 1985. This road has been revegetated. <br />7. Estimates of the location and number of acres to be affected in the next report year. <br />RESPONSE: <br />Exhibit D-1, Mining Plan, shows the anticipated direction and extent of mining. At <br />the present time, mining has not advanced as far as proposed. This is primarily due <br />to a low demand for gravel production. Our proposed rate for the coming year should <br />reach the 49,000 tons as permitted. The anticipated disturbance for 1989-1990 is: <br />Area Acres <br />Active pit advance 2.0 <br />Topsoil removed in advance of pit 2.0 <br />
