During December, the West Pit water treatment plant operated efficiently discharging a
total of 10,396,000 gallons (31.91 acre-feet) of water to Rito Seco Creek, a total of
823,600 gallons (2.53 acre-feet) of water was transferred from the water treatment plant
to the tailing impoundment, and seepage along Rito Seco Creek remained dry.
