Nearly etll of the
results correspond to the Cross composite head sample. Only the
whole rock data was supplied for the Cross composite tail sample.
A large volume of Quality Control Reports from Core Laboratories
were also enclosed. These Quality Control Reports could probably
be eliminated from future submittals to the Division.
Composite Head Sample
The whole rock data from this sample gives a gross elemental
composition of the rock reported in milligrams per kilogretms. Even
more important in terms of rock composition are the detailed
mineralogical investigations that were performed on thra sample.
The Division must compare all geochemical data to the specific
mineralogy of the sample from thin or polished section analyses.
Will this data be submitted soon?
The acid-base potential tests show an acid neutralizing .potential
of 89.6 tons CaC03/kt on the lab report and 8.96 in writing next to
it. Which number is the actual result? Total and sulfide sulfur
are really quite low which may correlate with the low sulfide
content of the sample (mineralogy outstanding). Wa.s the head
sample analyzed for the metal suite agreed upon (Pb, Zn, Cu, As,
Cd, Hg, Ag) before the leaching tests were performed?
The Meteoric Water Mobility Test results for the head sample indeed
show that no significant amounts of metals were detected in the
