0 0 <br />Specifications for all applicable types of work required in the Special <br />Conditions. The General Conditions apply to all work covered in the Special <br />Conditions. Copies of the General Bid Specifications are available at the <br />Pre -Bid Meeting or from the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division, 1313 <br />Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203 (303) 866 -3567. <br />PROJECT START <br />The project is scheduled with a startup date for June 29, 1992. If you cannot <br />schedule construction duing this period, please do not bid on this project. A <br />Notice of Award will be sent to the apparent low bidder within four (4) days of <br />the bid opening. The Mined Land Reclamation Division must receive the required <br />insurance, bonds and project schedule within fourteen (14) days after the bid <br />opening. At the expiration of the fourteen days CLMRD may elect to award the <br />contract to the next lowest bidder. Bidders are advised to keep close contact <br />with CMLRD during this period. <br />PROJECT SCHEDULE AND PRE- CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS <br />The project is scheduled for construction between June 29 and August 14, 1992. <br />A schedule of work items to be completed within this time period must be <br />submitted to the PROJECT MANAGER for approval prior to the start of <br />construction. The project schedule shall show time lines of major activities <br />and Bid items, and shall demonstrate the CONTRACTORS ability to complete the <br />project within the allotted time. <br />TIME OF COMPLETION <br />The time of completion allowed for the project is 47 calendar days after <br />receipt of the Notice to Proceed. <br />LIQUIDATED DAMAGES <br />The liquidated damages for this project will be $300.00 per day. Please see <br />"General Conditions ", Numbers 9 and 10. <br />BID BOND <br />A bid bond is required for this job. Please see the "General Conditions" <br />Number 4. <br />PERFORMANCE BOND AND LABOR AND MATERIALS PAYMENT BOND <br />A performance bond and a labor and materials payment bond are required for this <br />job. Please see the "General Conditions" Number 6. <br />THREE -WAY AGREEMENT AND INSURANCE <br />A three way "Agreement for Reclamation Activities" is required for this job. <br />Please see Number 5 of the "General Conditions" for the applicable insurance <br />requirements. The certificate of insurance must name the private landowner as <br />an "additional insured" and allow for 30 days notice of cancellation of <br />insurance to the certificate holders. The insurance must waive subrogation <br />against the private landowner. <br />7 <br />
