Dept. of Natura. nc~uurces <br />° The vegetation will be removed from the 100' x 200' <br />scarped area. <br />° The scarps and slumped area will be graded and resloped <br />to approximate former contours so surface runoff water <br />is prevented from seeping into the slide plane. <br />II. Culvert System <br />° The determination of the 36 inch CMP is shown on the <br />calculation sheet. The 36 inch half C.rIP will be in- <br />stalled on the surface. <br />° The trackhoe will excavate 62 yards3 for headwall block <br />and thrust blocks. The uphill side of the 36 inch half <br />CMP will sit flush with the surface. See Figure A on <br />Drawing A for locations of where 36 inch half CMP and <br />36 inch CMP are used. <br />° The trackhoe will excavate 14 yards3 by the manhole to <br />locate the last 20' section of the existing 30 inch CMP. <br />The new 36 inch CMP will connect into the manhole where <br />existing 30 inch CDiP is located (See Figure A on Drawing <br />A) . <br />° The forms for the concrete will be constructed so the CMP <br />can be set in place. Figure A on Drawing A will show the <br />location of the thrust blocks. Drawings B and C show the <br />dimensions of the main and intermediate thrust blocks. <br />° The 36 inch half CMP and 36 inch CMP will be set in place <br />and bolted up. <br />° Drawing D shows dimensions of the headwall block. <br />° The concrete will be poured after the CMP are set in <br />place. <br />
