Exactly what data will be displayed depends orc the particulaz <br />software, but at the minimum the basic data regarding date and time <br />should be available unless the softwaze used cannot access EXIF data. <br />Some older graphics programs were written before EXIF data and digital <br />cameras were even invented; no data can be displayed by those programs. <br />It is recommended that cunent versions of Adobe Photoshop or Photoshop <br />Elements or JASC (now Corel) Paint Shop Pro be used iP~you want full <br />access to EXIF data. These are the three most sophisticate°d and reliable <br />photo editing programs. (HINT: If all you need is general photo editing, <br />don't spend $700 on Photoshop; instead get Photoshop Elements 3 or <br />Paint Shop Pro 9 for about 1/7 the cost of Photoshop. They do everything <br />the general user would need and about 80% to 90% of what Photoshop <br />does.) <br />Images contained in this report were processed in Photoshop CS or <br />Photoshop CS2. No retouching was done, other than the color replacement <br />technique for the panoramic series of the leafy spurge populations. Images <br />were balanced For color and values using the levels and curves tools only. <br />No color balance, saturation, or other channel adjustments were made. <br />Sharpening was done using unsharp masking. In general, sharpening was <br />done to produce the best appearance on screen.
