<br />• <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The waste dump and stockpile areas include: (I) 4.6 acres <br />which is a raw material holding area; (J) 2.0 acres and (JJ) 5.4 <br />acres which are also raw material holding areas; (0) 15.4 acres <br />opened prior to 1973 for raw material stockpile; (L) 17.0 acres <br />converted from mining to waste rock dump in 1484; (D) 27.0 acres <br />converted from mining to waste rock dump in 1984; (H) 1.7 acres <br />converted from mining to waste rock dump; (MM) 10.5 acres converted <br />from mining to waste rock dump in 1985; (E) 14.9 acres converted <br />from mining to waste rock dump in 1986; (F) 7.2 acres and (G) 3.2 <br />acres converted from mining to waste rock dump in 1987; (PP) 2.4 <br />acres and (QQ) 3.0 acres opened up for waste rock disposal in 1987; <br />and (A2) 26.7 acres converted from mining to waste rock dump in <br />1987. All total, there are 141.0 acres designated as stockpile and <br />waste disposal areas which are all considered major disturbance. <br />The only area reclaimed this reporting period was (RR) which <br />included 39.4 acres. This brings the total reclaimed acres to <br />234.3. <br />The area reclaimed was seeded with a mixture of 50% ranger <br />alfalfa, 25% orchard grass and 25% smooth broom. This mixture was <br />mixed with oats as a cover crop. All reclaimed areas are <br />experiencing excellent growth with grazing being done in areas (W), <br />(X), (M), (N), (P) and (a) and (CC) <br />Haying is being done in area <br />(b). <br />• <br />
