Doerfer
June 17, 1986
Page two
Monitoring underground as discussed in our subsidence monitoring letter July
30, 1985 now appears infeasible and will not be done. Upon resumption of active
mining we propose to do quarterly monitoring fora year on houses where new
mining is done within their projected zone of influence. At the end of a year
no further monitoring will be done unless subsidence has been indicated by
the surveys or is indicated visually. Monitoring reports will be submitted
semi-annually if monitoring has been done during the previous six months.
If there are any further questions about these results or the proposed subsidence
monitoring plan let me know.
Sincerely,
Larry M / Reschke, P.E.
Project Engineer
LRM:tgn
Enclosure
