Bio Block or Equivalent Material; G <br />Geosynthetic Fabric; G <br />Grain-size distribution and classification of materials to be used as <br />backfill for the vegetated bar reinforced soil layers, showing compliance <br />of filter criteria; G. <br />Manufacturer's standard written data and instructions for handling, placing <br />and protecting all fabric material. <br />Materials Handling and Placement Plan; G. <br />The Materials Handling and Placement Plan shall describe construction <br />procedures to complete the vegetated bars and fill at lun ke rs (if <br />applicable). At a minimum, the plan shall include: <br />• documentation of equipment to be used (including ground pressures), <br />traffic patterns, and sequence of operations <br />• a discussion of precautionary measures to prevent damage to <br />geotextiles and COIR fabric <br />• types of soil to be used as select fill within each lift of the <br />vegetated bars and lunker structures <br />• detailed description of the permeability, strength, and filter <br />properties of each geosynthetic fabric and the soil it will <br />retain/filter <br />• measures chosen to protect the geosynthetic fabric from UV radiation <br />exposure <br />• natural filter properties of materials not separated by geosynthetic <br />fabric <br />SD-04 Samples <br />Select Fill; F10. <br />A minimum of 50 pounds of select fill from each proposed borrow source, for <br />each proposed soil type, to the Government's designated laboratory at least <br />15 days prior to placement <br />Topsoil; FIO. <br />A minimum of 5 pounds of topsoil from each proposed borrow source to the <br />Government's designated laboratory at least 15 days prior to placement. <br />SD-06 Test Reports <br />Borrow Source Assessment; FIO. <br />Select Fill and Topsoil Material Tests; FIO. <br />Moisture Content and Density Tests of In-Place Select Fill; FIO. <br />02340-3 <br />
