Anew lease agreement
will be executed with the private landowner, and the county will work with Division
personnel to file a permit amendment or submit a new permit application to appropriately
increase the permitted acreage to encompass existing disturbed lands and Chose lands
anticipated to be impacted during future extractive operations.
Erica Crosby also stated "the reclamation plan states that slopes will be reduced to Sh:ly,
and topsoil will be spread to an approximate depth of 4". It may not be possible for the
County to achieve a slope of Sh:ly within the present permit boundary. Any increase to the
permit area may require filing of a permit amendment. If the operator wishes to increase the
slopes within the 3.844 permit area, then a technical revision may be required." With a
larger lease area and increased permitted acreage, the County will be able to modify our
mining plan and the reclamation plan, and develop a new proposed final contour of the area
with slopes that are Sh:ly or less.
If you have any questions regarding this Annual Report, or if you require additional
information, please do not hesitate to contact me at your earliest convenience.
SinceSince e~~
~~
Harold S.
