The dissolved solids appear to be increasing in wells <br />026-SP-1 and 026-SP-2, and dPCreasing in 41e11 026-SP-3. This may <br />' represent a long term trend or• may be related to variations in annual <br />precipitation. Tlie water is a calcium-sulfate type with high bicarbonate an <br /> low SAR. The water is higher in dissolved solids than the background <br />' bedrock levels but lower t han most of the spoil spring discharges. The data <br /> does not indicate any significant changes in the trace metals <br />' concentrations.
