(BMRI) - San Luis
DMG Permit No. M-88-112
Quarterly and Bi-Weekly Water Sampling - January 9, 10, 17, 30,
and 31, 1995
Dear Mr. Dillie:
Enclosed are the analytical reports from Core Laboratories for the
quarterly and bi-weekly water samples collected January 9, 10, 17, 30,
and 31, 1995 as specified in the April 1992 Abatement Plan. The cross-
reference table between sample identification numbers and sample
locations is attached. As specified in TR-006, calculated free and wad
cyanide values for the process point samples are enclosed.
No deviations from the sampling QA/QC protocols, TR-006, were noted for
any of the samples collected. Wells M-9, M-10, M-11, M-13, M-13R, and
M-14 were sampled. Samples were not collected at the surface water
stations. Ice buildup at stations RS-1, RS-2, and RS-5 prevented
sampling. RS-3 and RS-4 lacked water. M-12 was not sampled. The
piping for the dedicated pumping system was found to be frozen and
damaged. The installed system was repaired and sampling ar_ M-12 was
reinstated February 15. D87-24 was not sampled because snowdrifts made
the area impassable. The water level measurement at M-1 indicated an
insufficient volume of water in the well casing for sampling.
A.SUB.SIDlARY OF RA7TLF ,4lpUMA/N GOLU COMPANY
P.O. BOX 31U SAN LUIS.
