..
• A report identifying the crushing days of operation and identifying
all days on which the detonation of blasting materials within 200'
of ground surface is included in this annual report.
Also included is a progress report on the reclamation identifying
areas being reclaimed, the areas in which reclamation is complete
and the success and failure of these efforts. Also included in
this annual report is a report on the seismic monitoring of the
operation.
This report also includes a summary of transportation activities on
how material was transported off the site. We would request that
all the information contained herein remain confidential and
precluded from disclosure until the mining operation is terminated.
Hydrology: we are not aware of any adverse impacts of the
operation on the hydrologic cycle. There is no significant erosion
problem and any sedimentation collected has been reused in topsoil
applications to sustain new plant life. It is our opinion that the
operation is sensitive to this cycle and has improved vegetation.
Complaints: Any complaints directed specifically to Asphalt Paving
Co. have been dealt with properly and in a timely manner so as to
eliminate any potential problems that may arise. This Company
recognizes its responsibility to constantly be aware of any and all
• suggested methods for improvement and pledges its continued best
effort for a professional operation. We would note, however, we
are not aware of any specific complaints directed toward Asphalt
Paving Co. involving any of our Quarry activities.
Asphalt Paving Co. appreciates the opportunity to discuss this
operation with you. we are convinced that our relationship with
the Zoning Department and the Board of Adjustment is the reason it
works so well.

„r,~,,,.~~.. ~
