c) Grading and topsoiling are to be a contemporaneous operation <br />with the mining process. <br /> <br />d) No acid-forming or toxic producing materials are known to <br />exist in the materials to be mined. Refuse will not be <br />generated on the affected land nor will any refuse be <br />disposed of in the mining process. <br />e) No auger holes or shafts are associated with this operation. <br />f) Slopes will be graded to be compatible with the final land <br />use. Swimming facilities are not included in the <br />reclamation plan. <br />g) None of the reclaimed land will be used for horticulture. <br />6.2 Water <br />a) During mining, operation is expected to lower the <br />groundwater table in the vicinity. This lowering is <br />temporary and is not expected to cause material damage <br />to existing wells. Exhibit G further addresses the impact <br />on the site's hydrologic balance. <br />b) This operation will be in compliance with applicable <br />Colorado Water Laws and Regulations governing injury and <br />existing water rights. <br />c) The operator will comply with Federal and State regulations <br />governing water quality. A NPDES discharge permit from the <br />Colorado Department of Health will be required prior to <br />discharge associated with the 112 Permit. <br />d) There are no dredge and fill requirements that pertain to <br />this site. <br />e) This operation will not require siltation structures in <br />drainageways. <br />1. No earthen dams or impoundments are necessary at this <br />site. <br />6.3 Wildlife <br />a) Impacts on local wildlife populations are expected to be <br />negligible. No valuable or unique habitat will be <br />disturbed. <br />E-2 <br />
